Broadway Streetscape from 8th to 16th Streets
(anticipated Construction 2012-2013)
Broadway Phase III (8th Street to 16th Street)  is targeted for construction in 2012/2013. The Town has hired design consultants with NYSDOT approval. The consultants have been on site throughout the Fall of 2010 and Spring of 2011.  An initial public outreach meeting was held with the community in May of 2011.  Detailed design discussions are taking place between the Town and the design consultant.  This project is funded and administered from the NYSDOT & the Town of Cortlandt.

Broadway Streetscape from 3rd to 5th streets
(anticipated construction post 2013)
The timing on this phase of the project has been moved back.  The funding from the State has not been released as of October 2011.  This project has already been designed. Please note that due to the limited budget this Phase (5th to 3rd) will include drainage, curbs, sidewalks, re-surfacing and landscaping.  During 2011 the Grant funding for this project became unavailable. We are seeking other grant sources in the future.

Broadway Streetscape from 3rd to the River (phase IV)
(anticipated construction 2014 or later)
We are hopeful to obtain additional grant funds for this final phase of the project which has not yet been designed. Due to the steepness of the hill we anticipated major drainage to be designed in this section along with sidewalk and landscaping.
